Apply Eurax HC Cream sparingly to the affected area up to twice a day for rapid relief from mild to moderate eczema, dermatitis and insect bites. Eurax HC Cream can help reduce inflammation and itching. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have cold sores, acne or athlete’s foot, have weeping open skin wounds or on children under 10 years old. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, please consult your doctor before use.
The active ingredients are Crotamiton 10.0% w/w and Hydrocortisone 0.25% w/w. Eurax HC Cream contains propylene glycol which may cause skin irritation, stearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis); propyl hydroxybenzoate and methyl hydroxybenzoate which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). While allergic reactions are rare stop using and seek medical advice if your experience: burning sensation, irritation, itching or contact dermatitis at the site of application, blurred vision or other visual disturbances. Patients with hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients should avoid use. Keep away from eyes and broken skin.
If Eurax is accidentally swallowed, contact your nearest hospital emergency department or tell your doctor immediately. Do not smoke or go near naked flames – risk of severe burns. Fabric such as clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with this product burn more easily and can be a serious fire hazard. Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but will not totally remove it.
Suitable for use for adults and children over 10 only. Use sparingly on a small area twice a day for up to 1 week. Do not cover the area with occlusive dressings. If the condition does not improve within 7 days, please consult your GP. Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children and pets. Do not store above 25°C. Do not use after the expiry date given on the end flap. Use within 12 months of opening. For external use only, if symptoms persist, please consult your doctor.
